Home Stagers work with real estate agents, home builders and home owners to help them sell a home more quickly. They do this by making the home more attractive to potential buyers.
A home stager is hired to emphasize the most attractive features of a home while improving or downplaying features that are less attractive. This will require the selection of a theme or concept for the home. It can also include the selection of colors, lighting, furniture, flooring and accessories.
In 2006, Entrepreneur magazine listed home staging as a hot business. The demand for home stagers is growing but you need training if you plan to make this a career.
